Natural resources like water are becoming more and more sparse. Agriculture is by far the single largest water consumer, with a share of 70 to 80% in worldwide total water consumption. Consequently it is imperative to save water by professional irrigation scheduling and to protect soil and groundwater from pollution and degradation.

By using professional irrigation scheduling, monitoring and control the individual grower can not only increase on-farm profits and yields, but also contributes to a responsible and sustainable use of the natural resources.

We offer instruments for irrigation scheduling in open fields, greenhouses and containers for mineral soil and substrates, a range suitable for all crops:
Tensiometer, Watermark Sensor, Handheld and Monitor by Irrometer Inc., Gypsum Block, Scholander pressure chamber or Scholander bomb and Volumetric Soil Moisture Sensors like the mobile TDR Fieldscout.

Automatic water applications are realized by our switch Tensiometers and irrigation automation based on Watermark Sensors.

Additionally we offer automatic iMetos weather stations, iMetos ICA automatic irrigation controller and iMetos Track for monitoring of machinery use. The instruments from Pessl Instruments are available with and without telemetry by GSM / GPRS.
An on farm weather station serves besides the monitoring and recording of weather data many other useful purposes:
As alert device for frost or low and high temperatures (use in Tunnels, Asparagus growing, Animal husbandry, Storage etc.), as prognosis tool for disease and pest pressure or for calculation of the potential and actual Evapotranspiration Et for irrigation management according to climatic water balance (soil water deficit models).

But also Soil degradation by salt accumulation and acidification is becoming more and more a pressing issue. Therefore we offer also Suction Lysimeters for extraction of soil solution, and Instruments for measuring EC and pH Values manufactured by Adwa, IQ Scientific and Spectrum Technologies.

The measuring Instruments for pH Value by IQ Scientific offer with the innovative glass-free ISFET Sensor Technology many advantages like dry storage and the possibility of direct measurement in solid substances like Soils, Substrates and Foodstuffs. For checking the pH Value of Meat, Cheese and other Foods, the glass-free ISFET Sensor can simplify and speed up the measurements and therefore save cost.
